History of the College

Ibn Taimiya School and College started in 1979. At first it started as a Kinder Garten, then as High School and after that in 1996 college section was introduced. Since the beginning of the school it placed 10 times in top ten in the S. S. C and +the H. S. C Exams placing 4th, 5th, and 6th position. For acquiring 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th, 11th, 13th, and 14th Stands in Comilla Education Board and doing excellent results in Junior Scholarship Exam, it has been recognized as one of the best institutions not only in Comilla district but also across the country. The honourable members of Ibn Taimiya Trust, Governing body and above all, the efficient principal and the teachers of the institution are very much sincere to make the students good charactered and bring out good results.

In this contest, the institution arranges different programmes like Guardians’ assemblage, Teachers’ supervision in students’ houses, essential efforts to ensure students’ presence in the classroom etc. There are class tests, weekly tests, monthly tests and two semesters in 1st. year & two semesters in 2nd year make the students busy in their studies.
